Allergy Attack, Runny Nose, Sneeze, Red Watery Eye. On Zyrtec, Benadryl. Next?

my husband and i just travelled from sea level (FL) to CO - Telluride yesterday. Middle of night he started suffering from pretty severe allergy attack...running nose, sneezing , constant red watering eye. Have taken zyrtec and claritin and benadryl - he is now napping. but he really cant seem to get any relief. no fever - no achiness. He has had altitude sickness before but claims this doesn t feel like that at all...any ideas of what to do next?
