Accidental Fall On Lower Back. Having Sharp Pain In Hip And Leg. On Pain Killers. Healing Time?
fell of a chair while standing up on it and landed on my lower back/buttocks area the pain was very bad for about 10 mins and felt faint. gradually eased im now taking pain killers still sore and tight feeling along with sharp pains if i get up to quick and feel my left hip and leg a bit pain shooting down it at times.im taking it its quite normal to experience that? how long for recovery?

The duration of the pain shall differ depending on the degree of trauma. However, pain lasting only 10 minutes after the fall is an indirect indication of the intensity or gravity of this condition. I suggest you continue taking the anti inflammatory drugs in an appropriate doses for about a week.
Addition of a topical anti inflammatory drug could be helpful in accelerating the healing process. Under these circumstances, the pain persisting above ten years of appropriate treatment would actually be rare. If pain intensifies, or persists despite treatment, this might deserve you consult your physician again for a proper medical evaluation and management.
