OBGYN 's  Response
Hello, I would be happy to help.

I am not sure about the symptoms involving your tongue, but the mid cycle pain and headache could very well just be cycle related. Mid-cycle there is pain related to ovulation commonly. You can also get pain related to ovarian cysts.

I would recommend a pregnancy test now and again when you would expect your next period. If your pain persists, then seek the help of an OB/GYN who should do an exam to check for the location of the pain and consider an ultrasound to further evaluate.

I hope this helps!
