Abdominal Cramping,sharp Pain On The Right Side Of Lower Abdomen,no Stool Only Liquid And Blood.

My husband age 49 has abdominal cramping, a burning sharp pain on the right side of his lower abdomen and after not having a bm for 6 days finally had one yesterday that was very bloody. Today, he went to the bathroom again and there was no stool only liquid and blood. He has no fever and no other pain and has not been in any kind of accident.

Since this is first and your husband develop CONSTIPATION ( due to unknown reason ) so there was pain in the right side of abdomen .
Pain was due to hard stool ( according to my opinion till other disease don't rule out) and after a gap of 6 days he passed stool.
There was blood stained stool , as I have noted in my patient that when once constipation they pass very hard stool material which produce ( causes ) injury to large intestine and rectum and anal wall , so hard stool entrapped with blood .After this bowel movement your husband passed liquid and blood , this is also due to injury ( got due to hard stool ) .
When such patient visit in my clinic I advise them to take picosulphate liquid 10 -15 ml in the evening and some light food .
Wait for another 3-5 days , if still your husband passes blood in stool or liquid ( diarrhea ) then consult a physician and get his opinion , otherwise no need of any consultation.
