81 Years. Severe Jaw Pain On The Side Of Tilted Ear Drum. History Of Pneumonia, Enlarged Heart, Low BP. Any Related Heart Problem?

Hi My 81 year old grandmother just started to have severe jaw pain, and can barely chew or move her mouth. She does have a tilted ear drum (and is going deaf) on the side she is feeling pain. Although, has never felt pain in this ear before. Just weeks ago she had pneumonia, suffers from an enlarged heart, low heart rate, and is a survivor of cancer. My concern is that this pain she is feeling is related to her heart condition. Is this a possibility Or could this be completely unrelated?

Thank you,
Cheryl

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

This pain is not likely to be related to her heart – heart pain will not be related to or prevent jaw movement. / However, at this age, with a history of heart disease, the first thing to rule out should be the heart...
Teeth(?), temperomandibular joint / secondary from the previous cancer are more likely to be responsible. She needs examination...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
