78 Years Old Chronic Diabetes Patient Suffering From UTI. What Antibiotic He Can Take ?

My father is chronic diabates and 78. For the past 5 years he is suffering from UTI mainly from Klebsiella derivatives but in most cases assymptomatic. As per doctors advices almost all anti-biotics consumed. 6 months ago done cystoscopy found no lession,no other growth in UB or prostate. PSA level normal. Kidney functioning normal Na,K,Ura all normal,. Blood sugar level maintains in 70-120 range. No fever ,shivering. For the last 5 months not on any antibiotic. We chech Urine for culture/sensitivity for the last 5 months one time in amonth. All time Klebsiella grown 100000 col.count but patient is assymptomatic. What we shall do?

It is a significant colony count. See the lab which does tests for higher antibiotics like piperacillin with tazobactum, meropenem, amikacin, etc. These drugs can be used for the same. Bladder wash can also be given regularly if it is cystitis.\
Drink lots of cranberry juice. Sugarless
