7 Year, Red And Puffy Eyes, Nose Pouring With Blood, Numb And Sick With Pain In Head. Any Ideas?
Hello my nephew who is 7 years old just had a funny turn. He was sitting there and he went all wierd his eyes went puffy and red. He wouldn't talk to me and was acting odd. By this I mean all floppy, scared, hallucinations and looked like his whole face had dropped. He then started crying and his nose started poring out with blood. It wasn't normal and concerned me. After he came round he told me he felt scared, numb and sick with pain in his head. Its the 3rd nose bleed he has had today. Can you help please thanks.

Much as I'd like to tell you that nothing is wrong with him, I cannot, for three nose bleeds in a single day is an alarming symptom. You MUST take him to the ER without delay. The "funny turn" as you are calling it could be something really serious. He might need specialised tests like brain imaging, blood pressure monitoring, a look by the ENT specialist, X rays and coagulation tests before he is certified to be normal.
