Hello Thanks for writing to us with your health cocnern. There are various causes for a miscarriage. The commonest reason is chromosomal anomalies, and these are more common in IVf procedure as the eggs and sperms are handled outside the body, and this can be checked by chromosomal evaluation of the products of conception obtained on D and C. Also, karyotype of parents should be done. Hormonal tests, tests for infectious agents should be done. She should have screening for antiphospholipid antibodies. before planning next conception, have thorough preconceptional counselling. All the best for the future.
