30 Weeks Pregnant, Pressure In Lower Stomach, Phlemy Liquid On Vagina. What Is It?
Hi, im 30 weeks pregnant and it feels like shes pushing down my stomach , its alot of pressure in the lower area of my stomach. Earlier on today my stomach was very stiff and tight but hardly any pain apart from when i moved. i also went to the toilet to find at least 2 tablespoons (estimate) worth of clear with slight green hints phlemy liquid. when i walk i can feel it coming out. not sure what to do? please help!
Hi, Thanks for the query. During the later weeks of pregnancy, some amount of tightening of the abdomen is common. These are called Braxton Hicks contractions. Because of increasing size of the uterus, some amount of pressure can fall on the abdominal structures. But as you mentioned greenish discharge, better to consult gynecologist once and get examined. After examination she can rule out the possibility of leakage of liquor. After ruling out that, you can continue the pregnancy with symptomatic treatment. Take care.
