My three year old son was riding his tricycle down the hill sat day before Easter and he fell off when he reached the bottom and hit his head on a tree stump, he was crying and bleeding so I cleaned him up and he went on about his business. But today three days later he has a nose bleed not bad but enough to get my attention.!!! Should he be see from his doctor?

Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Nose bleed in children could be because of several causes.

Most common among them is nose picking. Just observe your kid for nose picking.

It could also be because of trauma or hypertension or local causes or bleeding disorders.

A complete physical examination is required to arrive at a diagnosis.

Request you to consult your doctor for the needful and further investigations.

Hope this helps.
Take care.
