1 Year Old Baby, Having Cough At Night And Difficulty In Sleeping. What Home Remedies Will Help Her In Getting Sleep?

My 1 year old is breastfed and eating organic baby food. She just recently got sick coughing some and I hear some mucus. She wakes up every 20mins at night to cough then cries! Every 20 mins! Her mattress is up at an angle, humidifier going, and I rub little remedies soothing rub on her chest. Anything else I can of to help her sleep?

Hi,

The symptoms you describe go for reactive airway disease.

A viral infection may have triggered these symptoms.

You should clean her nose with normal saline 3-4 times a day, before breastfeeding.

If the problem persists than you should consult the doctor.
