Brief Answer:
It could be due to hormonal imbalance.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting us about your healthcare.
I have gone through your history and understand your concern.

These symptoms could be due to hormonal imbalance, as you are not feeding your baby as well.
You should take a lot of warm water and lots of fruits and vegetables.

Do check your thyroid profile if not done already. Although you gave birth in September, do also a urine pregnancy test to rule out the possibility of pregnancy (if very scanty menses).

Hope you found this useful, feel free to ask more information.

Good luck
Regards

Hi doctor we are using condoms as a protection... I have this scare that I may be pregnant and this is implantation bleeding. The bleeding started on Monday being day 21 to day 23 being today. And now there is no traces of blood. I’m really scared. If it isn’t implantation bleeding then it should be due to hormonal imbalance right? The blood in the starting was like bright red but very little of it...

Brief Answer:
Most likely due to hormonal imbalance

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Sorry for the delay in my response.

As you used protection there are almost no chances of pregnancy in your case.
It is most likely due to hormonal imbalance.
But if the flow is not enough, we can do a pregnancy test to rule out the possibility of pregnancy.

Hope you found this useful

Good luck

Hi doctor I wanted to start the birth control pill but today is already Day 8 of the cycle considering I had a 2 day period from 3-5 December.. is it too late to start the pill? Or can I start it? Also we had intercourse today I fear the condom may have slipped so should I take the morning after pill tomorrow morning? Or should I just start the birth control pill? Also does taking the morning after pill cause infertility ? Thanks

Brief Answer:
You should not go for birth control pills.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Sorry for the delay in my response.
You should not go for birth control pills for contraception because it is too late and you had unprotected intercourse as well.
You can take morning after pills to avoid pregnancy.
And till your next cycle you can use condom to prevent pregnancy.
Morning after pill may cause menstrual irregularities and may cause ectopic pregnancy.

Good luck

Hi doctor as I explained before my scenario so my last bleed of 2 days was on the 3rd of December. Few days after I had a fear of sperm leakage so I took an emergency birth control. Today 17 December i got my periods again.. so just wondering what is happening? Would you reckon my hormones are imbalanced? Would you suggest me to do any hormonal blood tests before taking any medication? Also what’s the difference between mercillon and microgynon? I was taking mercillon pill two years ago and it worked pretty well with me.
