Hello!

Welcome to Ask a Doctor service!

I passed carefully through your question and reviewed your test report and would agree with you on the fact that your platelet count is slightly elevated.

This could be related to chronic inflammation. It may also be a normal variation without any underlying cause.

But, as your immunological tests have resulted normal, I think that a rheumatological disease has been excluded.

Could you please upload the immunological tests for me to review in order to be able to give a more professional opinion?

Another issue to consider is a neurological disorder like Myastenic syndrome ( fatigue shortness of breath). For this reason consulting with a neurologist may be needed.

Have you checked vitamin B12 and vitamin D plasma levels?

What about your blood pressure values? I recommend measuring your blood pressure values in sitting and standing up position. In case your blood pressure values drop more than 20mm Hg during standing up from sitting position, it could be indicative of orthostatic hypotension. In such case a Head up Tilt test would be necessary.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

I remain at your disposal for any further questions whenever you need!

Kind regards,

Hello, thank you so much for the detailed answer i have been sick 3 months with no direction or answer on what to do.

Attached is immunologist tryptase, my immunologist want me to take another tryptase. We did a trial of singulair but only 2 weeks because side effects. Did not feel a difference. My research show that people who have mast cell always still have a high level tryptase number.
I will be considering seeing a neurologist.
Back in 2018 my iron and vitamin d was low. Iron has not been a problem since all recent blood work. I was told after vitamin d levels were better to just eat food with that vitamin to stay normal.i have b12 supplements that i use but i will have to be more consistent with taking everyday.

Blood pressure is always great but i will have to try standing and sitting, i never checked that way before.

Sometimes it feels like an anaphylaxis reaction but benadry and steroids never work. Even through i.v at hospital.

I get a full body jittery feeling, heart feels like i will faint. Nothing i try works. It also affects GI. stomach swelling and sometimes after eating i have to use the bathroom immediately. I have cut out everything except plain chicken and rice but still no change. Change my water bpa free, everything allergy friendly but nothing changes.

Brief Answer:
My opinion as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

Thanks for the additional information.

Yes, based on your tryptase levels, it seems that you don't have an allergic reaction.

Coming to this point, I recommend also checking for gluten intolerance(anti-gliadin antibodies).

Other tests to consider would be :

- ASO titer
- ANA and XXXXXXX titer

Another cause to consider would be irritable bowel syndrome.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above tests.

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask me again!

Regards,

Dr. lliri
