Question: hello. I am a 50 yr old Asian male of filipino extraction with history of heart attack, diabetes, heart failure & COPD. recently, was admitted to hospital few weeks ago (May 10) for rectal bleeding. all tests & labs came back normal and negative. colonoscopy was performed following day and everything was normal and negative. my blood work came back normal and negative. two weeks after hospitalization, experienced testicular bleeding. bouts of blood in stool, blood in phlem, quick to fatigue and weakness have become frequent. take mulitiple meds for heart & diabetes (too many to list offhand). my PCP is puzzled. my cardiologist confirms not cardiac-related. medical team who treated me for rectal bleeding at a loss. already tried the symptom app describing same ailments. came back with colon cancer as primary cause. cannot be. colonoscopy and other labs/tests for rectal bleeding came back negative. G.I. doctor who performed procedure informed me no cancer, tumor or cysts were found. live in XXXXXXX home of XXXXXXX Medical Center, and even they do not have the answer. am afraid I may have undiscovered new strain of virus in my body akin to that of ebola, which has no known origin or cure which as of this writing is still active over in XXXXXXX scheduled to see G.I. doctor who did colonoscopy soon as follow-up but am hoping someone out there in medical community can answer my complicated situation/medical issue. thank you. XXXXXXX ...

Brief Answer:
Blood test for cea and ca 19.9

Detailed Answer:
Hi

I have gone through your history

Since you had bleeding in rectum blood test for cea and ca 19.9 and Pet ct scan is needed to rule out rectal or colon cancer.

Also would advise you to do a fresh endoscopy and colonoscopy test
