Brief Answer:
could be due to hormonal changes or new onset migraine or both...

Detailed Answer:
Hello Ekta, welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service...
I've gone through your query in details...
I can understand your concern...

First of all, please note migraines are a diagnosis of exclusion. In fact, anyone with a previous history of a migraine can develop new-onset attacks at any point in their life later on...

Moreover, since it's been just 20days after the miscarriage, this one could be due to hormonal changes that happen after this...This should subside eventually...

Follow the advice below and observe how you stay later on:

Avoid all form of stressors (certain types of smell, excessive spicy/sour foods, loud noise, excessive bright lights/direct sunlight etc.)...

Practice daily 8hour of sleeping, try to lie down in a dark room devoid of any kind of noise...

You can have a mild analgesic i.e. ACETAMINOPHEN/PARACETAMOL 650mg round the clock (up to three times daily after food) and observe the progress...

Practice meditation/yoga for 30-40min every day...

Drink plenty of water throughout the day to remain well hydrated...

With all these, you should be feeling better. However, before going for the migraine test, I'd suggest getting yourself checked up by your Gynecologist first. Some further investigations i.e. complete hormonal profile, hemogram, and electrolytes can be checked to look into it in details...

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take Care
Kind Regards

Brief Answer:
follow as already advised...

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back,

If this is your first miscarriage, nothing else needed to be done. Yes, I concur with your doctor as the body undergoes several changes for the first few weeks, so just this much investigations would do.

Nothing to worry, eat a balanced diet, avoid any excessive stress, keep routine follow-ups with your Gynecologist along with periodic investigations exactly as per the treating doctor's advice.

Follow all other bits of advice given earlier, that'll suffice for the time being.

Take Care
Kind Regards
