Question: My daughter was told she had twins and was about five weeks along. Then at about seven or eight weeks of bleeding, the doctor said there was no second sac and the one sac had no heartbeat. Sadly, they did a D and C. However, after even more days of bleeding, she was still experiencing pregnancy symptoms. The clinic refused to see her again and shuffled her off to a GP (she's on Medicaid) who waited another month to do a sonogram. She still has pregnancy symptoms and is growing larger. The new doctor said there is one sac and a growing live baby. The other clinic says they have never heard of her, even though they delivered her last baby. I smell a rat. We are also very, very worried that the clinic tried to kill a live baby and harmed it. What should we do? Her heart rate is high, 123 every day. The GP says she needs a specialist, but I am having a hard time finding one who takes Medicaid. And do I get a lawyer? Is my daughter and the baby going to be OK? Help! Carole
