Brief Answer:
It is given to induce withdrawal bleed ( artificial period )

Detailed Answer:
Okay, let me explain things to you in detail now.
Thank you for uploading the prescription.
The pregnancy test is negative in your case.
So the period can be delayed due to stress, anxiety, late nights etc.
Taking an I pill also can result in irregular cycles for a month or two following the intake of the I pill.
Progesterone tablets are given for 5 days, and then stopped to induce withdrawal bleed ( artificial period ) and to kickstart your cycle.
SO that is why the doctor has prescribed you with Naturogest ( progesterone ) for 5 days.
Please take it as prescribed, and you will have your period within a week of stopping the pills.
Have you had unprotected sex after 17th of July ?
Did you take any I pill last month ?
Are your cycles generally regular ?
With a history of 2 ectopic pregnancies, it is very important for you to use regular protection.
YEs, with your history, you can safely use Naturogest for 5 days, it is safe and not dangerous.
Take care.

Yes madam my periods was regular. before some couple of moths back whn i took I pill twice tht time I had some 3 or 4 days difference on my dates. but not as this time. I had sex on 17th once tht was unprotected. but after tht it's only with protection.. thr is any other option apart from condoms..? and I'm planning to have a second child by next yr. so was bit worried .cos I have only one tube if at all tis time if it's something wrong.

Brief Answer:
Can do HSG to check tubes, can use oral contraceptive pills.

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for the update.
See, taking I pill repeatedly will lead to lots of side effects, and no benefits.
Apart from condoms, you can use regular birth control oral contraceptive pills, that is no problem.
They are quite safe for use, please use them ( Novelon ) is an excellent option.
ALso, with one tube removed and the other one surgically handled, realistically chances of pregnancy are lower than average.
You need to get an HSG done ( x ray of the tubes ) to check if the one remaining tube is open.
If it is open, then you can have hopes of natural conception, otherwise you may have to consider IVF ( in vitro fertilization ).
But first of all, please stop taking I pill as it leads to irregular periods and disturbed hormones.
Start a pill like Novelon regularly when you get your periods this time after taking Naturogest.
I hope that my answer has helped you.
