Brief Answer:
Effective for typhoid fever also.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking Health care magic forum.

I have gone through your query. Bactomin is sultamicillin and azifine is azithromycin. Both can be given for typhoid fever also. It is usually second line drug. Typhoid bacteria can have resistance to various antibiotics. Actually this both is a strong combination. A regular follow up should be there with your doctor. He/she will switch on to another antibiotic if this is not effective. Blood or stool culture during various phases are done for this also. Bifilac is a probiotic for replenishing the intestinal good bacteria which are destroyed by these antibiotics.

Do you have respiratory problem also? Aerodil cold and asthakind are given for bronchodilation and expectoration of sputum.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Can go for blood and stool culture after 3 to 5 days of therapy.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for your follow up query.

Slight fever can be present for some days (3 to 5 days usually). The fever will come down day by day if antibiotic responding. But if temperature is high or fever still there after 5 days then you should see your doctor. In such case hospitalization and change of antibiotics might be needed. Take more fluids. If taking fluids is difficult then also hospitalization is better as IV fluid can be given.

Dry cough can be present for some days even after clearing any respiratory infection. If there is no breathing discomfort or wheezing then it is ok.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
