Brief Answer:
Please do not try to suppress the fever too much.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, welcome to HealthcareMagic,

Please do not try to suppress the fever too much. It is a natural reaction of the body to fight an infection. Let the antibiotics work.

Use natural methods like tap water with Eu-de-Cologne sponging to bring down fever and take Paracetamol only when fever exceeds 101 Degree F.

Regarding how many days--we cannot say. If the antibiotics work, she should improve in 48 hours.

But if the typhoid bacteria are resistant, to Ceftas and Oflox (which can happen) then fever can continue and antibiotics may have to be changed.

Feel free to ask further.

Regards
