Brief Answer:
psychiatrist would be best

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question.
Vyvanse is an amphetamine and is addictive and has some serious side effects. That said, it can be very effective for some patients with specific conditions like Attention Deficit Disorder. Especially at 61 you want to be very careful that you do not have any heart issues before using drugs like Vyvanse regularly.
The people that most often prescribe Vyvanse would be psychiatrist. Some primary care doctors that treat a lot of attention deficit may also be comfortable prescribing this drug.
I would advise you to first see your primary care doctor and make sure that you are healthy enough to take such a drug regularly. Then if they are not comfortable prescribing it for you then ask them to refer you to a psychiatrist.
Regards,
Dr. Robinson
