Brief Answer:
You can go for Lasik.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to health care magic.

I reviewed your history.
Since the change in the cylindrical power is one year back, you need to check it now and if the refractive error do not show any change then you can undergo LASIK surgery.
The minimum requirements for undergoing LASIK are age 21 or more, stable refractive error for at least 1 year.
Since you fulfil both these you can undergo LASIK surgery.
Do consult your doctor for evaluation and other tests like corneal thickness and orbscan... after these tests you can undergo LASIK surgery.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you

i just had my recent check up, there is an increase in my left eye cylindrical: from -1.50 to -2.00.
Im a performer and i have a tough time with my specks. I tried contacts but i ve not been able to put it on.
i want to get rid of it, so if you could give me some other suggestion if im not eligible for lasik.

Brief Answer:
You need to wait till the power is stable.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.

Since the cylindrical power in left eye is not stable and it has increased you need to wait till this power gets stabilized. If you undergo LASIK surgery now and if the power increases then you need repeat surgery or spectacle after LASIK surgery.
Hence LASIK surgery is performed once the refractive power becomes stable.
As of now you have to go for other two options which you have tried like spectacle or contact lens.
Hence in your present condition you need to wait till the refractive power becomes stable. This usually occurs by 21 - 22years.

Hope the information is helpful to you.

Thank you

Brief Answer:
You can use contact lenses.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thank you for the follow up question.

Contact lenses are better than spectacles, you can go for them till the refractive power becomes stable.
The refractive power becomes stable by 21-22 years.
Since you are 21 now it will become stable very soon. Once it is stable you can go for refractive surgery and till then you can use contact lenses.

Hope the information is helpful to you.
