What Are The Long Term Effects Of Lasik Eye Surgery?

Hi Doctor, Can you tell me that if lasik eye surgery is harmful in long run . I am myopic with eye power of -3 and now it is stable from past 5-6 years .One of my friend told me that if you go under laser now , then you wont be able to operate your eyes ever in future if some other problems like cataract persists.IS it true ?

your case is suitable for largery. ihas some complication in long run. like corneal dystrophy, posterior epithililiasationetc. however you can take calculated risk. otherwise contact lens is equally good
