Does Arginine Causes Side Effects?
To increase my sperm count, i have been advised many medicines like ubiq100, addyzoa, oligocare etc. I am a high myopic with corrected vision of 6/12 parial or 6/18. Lately i am experiencing loss of sight and my filed tests have confirmed the same. Just want to understand if the ARGININE compund commin in these pills can be responsible in reducing my vision. Or is it that ARGININE helps improve vision. also is there anything called L arginine

Arginine or L-arginine is the essential amino acid used to produce nitric oxide which helps the flow of blood to penis during erections. As it is the precursor of nitric oxide which helps to reduce intraocular pressure and may improve glaucoma. Again, nitric oxide can dilate blood vessels which may decrease blood pressure and improve hypertensive retinopathy. It can improve insulin sensitivity and may improve diabetic retinopathy by this mechanism.
Though it is essential for choroid, retina and optic nerve of the eye but its prolonged using may produce large amounts of nitric oxide which can be converted into NO2, nitrite and free radicals etc that may develop optic nerve degeneration, posterior retina detachment lesion, retinopathy, glaucoma etc.
