I have gone through the photographs.
The lesion looks like a folliculitis(inflammation of hair follicles) with surrounding local infection. Other superficial skin infection is another possibility.
There is redness and erythema adjacent to wound, indicates active infection. It is better to start on antibiotics after consulting with a local physician.
Do you have any pre existing conditions like diabetes.
