Brief Answer:
No specific amount

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
there is no specific amount of water that a patient may drink without having trouble. You should follow your thirst. If you feel thirsty then you're probably dehydrated. Heavy diuretic use that is common in cases like yours, make sure that you loose a lot of water every day, so you've got to make up for it.

Unfortunately every patient has one's own heart functionality what's too much for one can be too little for the other. A practical way to go is to measure your body weight every day and watch for variations. If fluid accumulates in your body then your body weight will be much higher than usual in a very short time period. Then this would be the time to either increase diuresis or decrease water intake (or both). Sometimes symptoms may ensue but usually after the body weight has changed (shortness of breath, worsening edema etc).

Kidney functionality may play a role in some patients because the kidney might be unable to excrete excess water and electrolytes.

I hope I've helped!

Kind Regards!
