Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for asking from healthcaremagic.com

I am sorry for late reply.

Buspirone is an anti anxiety drug and sometimes used as alternative to benzodiazepines for control of anxiety symptoms. The drug is safe to use and can even be used on SOS basis. The drug has no abuse potential so can be used in younger population too. The drug acts by improving serotonergic neurotransmission and thus help to keep anxiety symptoms under control.

The drug has not much roles in depressive disorders as mono therapy but is approved drug to augment other antidepressants in resistant depression cases. The drug is also safe to use and cause only mild side effects like nausea, vomiting, lightheadedness, numbness of extremities etc. These side effects usually go after a week of use.

So please let me know what you want to know about Buspirone in follow up question.

Thanks. Take care
