Brief Answer:
A major surgery.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have seen all the reports attached. The MRI scan is suggestive of a spinal cord tumor and the tumor needs to be removed surgically to prevent the compression of spinal nerve roots and to find out the nature of the tumor.
It is a major surgery but not worrisome. In the hands of an expert surgeon there usually is no problem. In a normal patient like her the recovery is fast and she can lead an absolutely normal pain free life in 1-2 weeks. Mild damage to the nerve fibers can happen due to the trauma caused by the surgery but this also recovers gradually in 3-5 weeks. She need not worry at all and go ahead with the surgery as it is necessary to help her lead a normal pain free life.
I hope this answers your query.
