Answered by Dr. Sudhir (20 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
This means minimal bleed in urine.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Generally normal result is 4 RBC/HPF (red blood cells per high power field) or less.

At 11 -25 rbc/hpf one is likely to have occult hematuria, that is bleed in urine might not be obvious to eyes.

Common cause of such bleed is infection in the urinary system.

But there are wide range of causes that results this, ranging from blood causes to kidneys and down to bladder and urethra.

In most cases doctor will treat possible infection and recheck your urine.

If results remain same investigations would be needed to determine site and cause of bleed.

Seeing a regular physician should suffice at the moment.Later if needed you will need care of nephrologist.

Hope this helps. Please ask if there are doubts.Regards.
