What Does This Ultrasound Report Of Uterus Indicate?
Question: Dear Sir,
I am writing about my mother’s tumor problem in her uterus. She is 60 years old. Please see the attached ultra sonogram reports of her uterus. The Gynae specialist whom we are consulting observed that the report indicates some small sized tumors. The doctor said it is better to remove the tumors by surgery and prescribed some medicines which should be continued until we go for a surgery.
I have attached two sets of reports. First was done on 4-06-2014 and the second was done on 25-08-2014. Prescribed medicines are still continuing.
What would your likely suggestion be in regard to the problem?

I have worked through your mothers' reports and in my opinion, she should go for hysteroscopy and biopsy of cystic lesion before planning for surgery.
The medication prescribed to her only for symptomatic relief, hence she can continue the same.

My mother is not feeling any bleeding, pain or anything else from tumors. She is completely normal.
We will meet our doctor this week to move towards conclusion. According to the doctor it will be a simple operation. Patient will have to stay one night in hospital.
If i stuck will get back to you with hysteroscopy and biopsy report.
