Sometimes i feel lower left jaw heaviness (very lite heaviness ) when running up the stairs as a daily routine work up (70 floors divided on 5 times) just 3 min rest between each time or round .
I know that this is anextreme work out but i love it .
I went to my Dr who told me that it is from the exessive effort i do . But i told him that i need to rule out any serious isue like heart problem that's why he did for me the following :
EKG : normal
Stress test : negative stress test (reached 103 % of my tatget)
Echocardiogram : Normal & he told me that i have a strong heart muscel 110%)
Thanks God everything was fine .
But i forgot to tell him that i have a cervical disk protrusion c5-c6 .

I heared also that if it is cardiac issue i have to feel more symptoms like chest pain which may radiate to jaw or back , shortness of breath & cold sweating .
Is that right . It is just for my info . I know that i ruled out cardiac issues but just need to know from an expert to allign my infos .
Thanks
doctor
Answered by Dr. Praveen Jeyapathy (13 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Yes. you are right.

Detailed Answer:
Yes. Cardiac pain presents atypically. Most common presentation would be chest pain radiating to arm or jaw or back. Some patients have none of these. The tests you did are very sensitive to pick patients with cardiac conditions. You were negative for that. So dont worry. Take care. Wishing you good health. Warm regards.
