Brief Answer:
Medical treatment is always tried first.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist,i can understand your concern.

Prostate gland enlargement isn't related to any food intake.
So continue with your normal diet.

Once diagnosed, ensure your basic urine and blood tests are done, like :
1. urine routine and culture.
2. blood routine,creatine,PSA,RBS,LFT,and platelets.
3. Uroflowmetry.
4. TRUS-trans rectal ultrasound scan.

If all the above are normal, then we always advise medical treatment first.
This consists of alpha blockers like, Tamsulosin,or Alfuzosin,Silodosin, once daily.
The other medical treatment given is androgen blockers like Finasteride.
Medical treatment is very effective in giving relief from your urinary symptoms.
Thereby,you can safely avoid surgery.

Wish you well.

Brief Answer:
All reports needed for giving proper advice.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

The test reports must be sent here, to be able to give an expert opinion.
You've not passed much urine, during the scan test.

If you're having urine incontinence, then you need to consult an Urologist.
Till you see an Urologist, you may start the alpha-blocker written in previous reply.
Don't delay your visit for Urologist consultation.

Wish you well.

Brief Answer:
Switch to an Alfuzocin - Dutasteride combination tablet at bedtime.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

It's good to see the reports and they're all normal.
The urine culture report is missing,if done.
Send the report.

It's also good to note that you're passing urine with a better flow.
You can switch to a combination of Alfuzocin-Dutasteride tablet, once daily bedtime.

Repeat the scan after one month and send the report to me.
The night time urine incontinence will gradually reduce.

Wish you well.
