What Does This Follicle Size Of 1.3 Indicate?

Question: as a continuation of my previous post, I have some more concern.

In my current cycle, my gynac doctor suggested me to take menogon injection on my 6th , 8th and 10th day.
Accordingly I took that, but this month I am doing folicular study now my folicule growth is too slow .

Yesterday was my 18th day and my follicle size is only 1.3 * 1.3. I am really worried about that.

I am undergoing treatment since last 3 months, and this is my 3rd month of treatment trying to conceive.

As stated in my previous post, during my first month of treatment( I was under siphene tablet) I ovulated on 15th day and got periods on 30th day though I could not conceive.

during my 2nd month of treatment( I was under letrozole tablet) I ovulated on 15th day but got my period on 37th day only which could be because of susten tablet which i took for more than 15 days after ovulation. May be because of this my periods date could have been delayed as discussed in detail in previous post.

But in current month of treatment which is my 3rd month, my follicle size growth is too slow.

my concern is :-

1) can you please let me know why it is too slow this month after taking injection, even though last 2 months i ovulated on 15th day.
Can this delay be because of susten tablet that I took for long time after ovulation( from my 16th day till 36th day)?

2) this month again i will go for follicular study on my 21st day, so I know its going to be very late ovulation, may be around 45 day cycle. In this case, do I have any chances to conceive? or there is no use of being in contact due to this long cycle and late ovulation?
3) What should be my next month treatment so that i dont face this problem again?

Brief Answer:
Injections are the best

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
I have read all the previous posts and according to your previous history this cycle is definitely delayed but that makes no much of difference to the chances of conception.
Quality of egg is the main factor responsible for conception and when injectable drugs are used for induction of ovulation, the quality of egg is the best.
There is no bad effect of long cycle on ovulation or chances of conception.
Per cycle chances of conception are around 10-15% so patience is very important while pursuing fertility treatment.
Wish you all the best

Hello DR,

Thank you for your response, I felt postive after reading your reply.

Today is my 21st day and I did scan, my follicule size is stil only 1.4 * 1.4
So compared to last 3 days, only 0.1 size has increased. I am really concerned about this. I really doubt if ovulution wil happen properly and my doctr said only when size reached 2.0 she wil give me ovalution injection.

1)Can you tel me why its so late? even though in my last 2 cycles ovalution happened on 15th day?

Does that mean that my body is not reacting to this injection?
Or this delay is because of susten tablet that I took for long time in my previous cycle?

2)Can it be the case that tablet suits my body and injection does not suit me as it is not reacting much?

3) My one more concern is after having an intercourse, there is no much spilling.
Then I lie down for 30 min on top of pillow, But when I get up after 30 mints, I can see sperm is spilling out . I can see more amount f sperm in liquid form spilling.

4) Please let me know some natural food that I can consume which will particularly help me in my follicular growth.

Kindly let me know on the above 4 points please.

Brief Answer:
Wait for next ultrasound

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, this is a common occurrence as body reacts differently to different drugs but in case growth is poor on next scan as well then we might need to drop the cycle.
There is no relation with prolonged intake of Susten so don't worry about that and neither this is related to next upcoming cycles with injectables.
Take lot of fresh fruits and salads which have good antioxidants and thus help in quality of ova.
Semen spills out many a times so don't take if seriously as required amount of sperms stick to vagina so no much difference is there.
Wish you a healthy pregnancy soon.

Hello DR,

I went for scan yesterday that is my 24th day and follicule size was same. There was no growth. It was 1.4 * 1.4

1)So can you please let me know what can be done this month, so that even If I dont conceive atleast I can finish this month like a normal cycle?

2)My one more concern is next month can I again try with styphene table during which my cycle went perfectly fine ,which I took during my1st month of my treatment program.

As that medicine worked well with my folicule growth and ovalution, and I got my periods on 30th day itself,I have a feelign that it will help me in conceving if I try that once again in my next month? Please suggest me on that , also pls le tme knw if I can have styphene how much mg I can take. Thnak you very much for your help.

3) As you said last time, using pillow after being in contact will not make much difference I believe. SO is it really necessary to use pillow?

Brief Answer:
Drop this cycle

Detailed Answer:
Yes dear this cycle should be dropped and just wait for your periods now.
There can be slight erratic behaviour of your periods but nothing to worry.
From next cycle you can use either siphene 100 mg daily for 5 days or Injections as per your gynecologist.
Many a times some cycles fail to progress without any reason so not to worry at all.
As far as pillow is concerned it is said that it favours gravitational migration of sperms and is thus quite helpful
