Brief Answer:
Pneumonitis right lower zone (RLZ)

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
It seems that your dad is having pneumonitis right lower zone (RLZ) along with mild pleural effusion right. Since fever is for 15 days ,tuberculosis needs o be ruled out.You have to subject sputum,if any for culture and sensitivity test and sputum for Acid fast bacillus (AFB) for consecutive 03 days and for fungal hypae. Please let me know his complete blood count including ESR(fasting). Pending investigation results he needs to be under some antibiotic. Is it possible to upload x-ray chest film?
Is there any past or family history of tuberculosis?
Is he also diabetic as resolution is often delayed in DM and tuberculosis is also common.

Brief Answer:
Lung Infiltrations with minimal pleural effusion right

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Chest x-ray shows infiltration BMZ & part of BLZ. No specific conclusion can be drawn. HRCT(High resolution computed tomography )chest will be more informative in this case .His CBC goes more in favor of chronic /indolent lung parenchymal infection. He can continue the antibiotics and undergo investigation as suggested to come to a definite conclusion.
