Brief Answer:
Unfortunately there is no cure

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you.

I have noted your symptoms and also seen the muscle biopsy report. The report is suggestive of myopathy, where muscles are damaged, resulting in severe muscle weakness. In most people, the weakness of muscles may increase over time.

It is true that there is no cure for this disease. However, with good physiotherapy and regular exercises, we can expect some improvement.

Also, you should take high protein diet such as eggs, pulses, c, fish, etc, which are good for increasing muscle strength.

I sincerely hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
