What Does This X-ray Report Indicate?

Question: Hi,
My mom is suffering from knee pain from couple of years. From past one year pain has increased and we visited couple of doctors but none relieved her pain.Please find attached latest reports(X-ray) and let me know your opinion.

Well looking into your query I will like to tell you that treatment of your mother seems fine. She is having osteoarthritis of both knees, these are age related changes and will progress. If the pain is more and swelling is present she can take cortisone injections in the knee. They might help her plus physiotherapy will be vital for her . Any doubts please ask.

This depends on the activities of daily life being affected or not. It cannot be commented just on x ray . Functional limitations are the best criteria for knee surgery. And that varies from person to person.
