What Does This Mantoux Test Report Indicate?
Question: my wife had lymphatic t.b. and has been cleared since almost last 1 year. we had done montouxs test on skin and the result says induration of 15 mm. the doctor has prescribed for capsule quix

Hello,
testing for induration one year after infection is not recommended. The result is difficult to interpret. Generally induration of 15mm or bigger is considered a strongly positive result but the past infection renders it almost useless. If there is suspicion about recurrence then FNA and/or biopsy with culture would be required for the diagnosis.
I don't know what quix is and can't find it on the internet. If you've bought it already then perhaps you can tell me the active drugs or send a photo of the box and perhaps I could find the rest.
