Brief Answer:
High HS-CRP is a non specific marker of cardiovascular disease like ischemic disease

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

HS-CRP is an inflammatory marker for cardiovascular risk especially ischemic heart disease. HS-CRP needs to be interpreted keeping in view the clinical condition of the patient. Do you have any medical condition like hypertension, diabetes, etc?

HS-CRP level of 8.3 is little bit higher than normal. You are in high risk category for ischemic heart disease.
I suggest you to consult a cardiologist if you haven't done so.
Basic investigations like ECG, echocardiography, TMT, Holter etc as required may be done to assess the condition of cardiovascular system. Though there is no need to worry about it, especially if these tests come back normal.

If you have more queries, I will be glad to answer.

Thanks and take care
