What Does These Stool Test Report Indicate?

Question: My daughter Stool test report is below Colour SI.Greenish Yellow Form and Consistencey semi Fluid with Mucus Reaction Acidic Charcot-Leyden Crystals Nil pus cell 10-20/hpf R.B.C 0/3hpf Macrophages Nil Protozoal|Parasites Nil Helminthic Ova Nil Other Observation Nil she is doing loose-motion .Doctor suggest to start Zifi100 1ml two times a day ,but she is having loose-motion last 10 days and previously we were giving Z & D drops. last night she was suffering from fever and we have given crosin drops & she is 13 month old. please suggest as we are on track. Thanks XXXXX

Brief Answer: She may need hospitalization as well. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for consulting HealthcareMagic! Her stool report suggests that she has infection, mostly bacterial. She has been put on an antibiotic(Zifi). However, as there is no improvement, I suggest to go for a stool for culture and sensitivity test so that an appropriate antibiotic can be selected and moreover, based on physical examination findings others causes need to be ruled out as it has been more than 10 days. As she has been put on antibiotics only two days ago, we can expect an improvement in couple of more days, but follow up and the above mentioned things are also needed. On the other hand, fluid and electrolyte replacement is the very important thing that needs to be considered as she would have been dehydrated a lot. She may need hospitalization as well. Thanks for your quick response. I want add some more points: day before yesterday she has done some tight motion. But when she is doing formation milk and breast milk then her motion are loose.
