Brief Answer:
Grave's disease

Detailed Answer:
Thank you . Noted the reports. Your nuclear scan shows homogenous uptake and it indicates Grave's disease ( auto immune hyperthyroidism). What about your thyroid function tests? You have mentioned that you are not any medications. If you have hyperthyroidism in thyroid , you need to be on medications for same. What symptoms do you have now ? ( palpitations, tremors, weight loss?)

The symptoms I'm experiencing are: extreme fatigue, insomnia, heart palpitations, racing pulse, nervousness, anxiety, my hands shake, difficulty concentrating and remembering things, weight loss (I'm 5' 4" and have gone from 145 down to 125 since last May) and I'm eating the same portion sizes, weakness, extreme hunger, extreme thirst, mood swings and irritability, and spotting. I'm going through menspause and thought all this was from menopause and or age. It wasn't until I did researcg that a light bulb went off.

Brief Answer:
T3 Toxicosis

Detailed Answer:
Saw the reports. You have high T3 ( but normal T4) with low TSH. This is called T3 toxicosis. This will surely cause the symptoms which you explained. I wonder why your doctor have not initiated any treatment. You will also need treatment with anti thyroid medications. If left untreated, this can cause palpitations, Atrial fibrillation and osteoporosis ( low bone mass). I would strongly recommend treatment. In addition, you will also require calcium and vitamin D to protect your bones.

Binu
