Brief Answer:
Liver Diseases take long time to respond

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Liver diseases take long time to respond and they usually do not revert back to normal if fibrosis has occured

Albumin metabolism is also disturbed because of the altered liver function and the only way out is to supplement it in form of diet or parenteral infusion

Continue lasilactone

GO for an MRI Of spine to rule out existing disease

Dull pain can be because of the stretch in abdominal muscles secondary to ascites

She need to take low salt and fat free diet

Hope this helps
Do write back in case of concern
Wishing your mother a speedy recovery

Thanks Dr. for your valuable guidance. Our consulted doctor is still insisting for lever biopsy. considering the current improvement is it required to do so? Please advise.

Brief Answer:
Wait for another 4 to 6 weeks

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thanks for writing in again

Had I been in your place I would prefer waiting for another 4 - 6 weeks to come to a decision

Also ask your consultant what does he suspect that he wants to go for a liver biopsy

Regards
