Brief Answer:
A mucolytic in addition, steam inhalation.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query.

1. A mucolytic (such as bromhexine or ambroxol) and plain steam inhalation should help.

2. Short term use of OTC nasal decongestant drops (0.1% Xylometazoline) can be used.

3. Wal-itin (loratidine) tends to thicken the secretions and make them harder throw out.

4. Also get examined by a doctor if this problem persists.

I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.

Regards.
