Having Repeated Ear Clogging And Wooshing. Took Steroids Injections. Cause?
i went to an ear nose and throat doc because my ear was clogged and had an off and on wooshing sound. he put me on steroids along with 2 once a week steroid injections in the ear. a week or so later i got bronchitis which caused
my ear to clog up again and now im back to square one. what could be causing this repeated clogged ear along with the wooshing in my ear?

Hello,
This wooshing sound if stays for more than 5 minutes and is not preceded by exposure to loud noise is known as tinnitus.
Steroid injection were given for that.
You have now clogged feeling--
you can take decongestant tablets and nasal decongestant drops ,and Mucolytic tablets ---these will open up the eustachian tube (a tube connecting back of nose with middle part of ears)so will help in pressure equalisation.
if you want a diagnostic test for that -- get done--
Pure tone audiometry and impedance audiometry.
