Question: On 2 occasions in past 2 months I have awaken and was disoriented- lying down helped and after a day it passed, last time was Friday May 1. About a week ago I returned to work and has a eye focus problem and had no memory. This condition was gone in about an hour. On Saturday I went to a doc in the box and my blood pressure was 160/90. They sent me to ER and I had blood work and an MRI. All good. My blood pressure at ER was 175/90. ER dr. Recommended I stay in hospital. I came home. ER Dr. Says get Stress Test. I had Echo about a month ago and no charges from prior Echo. I am 72, very active and work every day. I am 6 ft 2 and weigh 185. Drink a glass of wine maybe 2 x week and have not smoked for 30 + years.

Brief Answer:
needs eeg

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your query.
I think I would be able to help you.

The symptoms of the query are quite suggestive of a possible seizure episode. I think I would suggest that you try to get a EEG done. However, the EEG may be normal someTimes. So make sure you meet a neurologist after the eeg.

The other possibility is that this may be a syncope. I'm that case you will need a long work up and better to get admitted with a good physician.

I feel this is prominently the former. So I suggest that you seriously consider meeting a neurologist.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information helps you. Please feel free to contact us for more information. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
