Brief Answer: I do not think that she is sexually abused, Detailed Answer: Hi, Thank you for asking question on health care magic. If there is any infection either in the lower limb or groin area the inguinal lymphnode may enlarge. Sexual abuse may result in bleeding and severe pain. Before she has secondary infection leading to lymphnode enlargement you will definitely know it. As the girl is only 4 years old she will not hide it. Treat with an antibiotic like erythomycin for 5 days along with some anti inflammatory drug like Ibuprofen or paracetamol to reduce pain and inflammation immediately. Hope this answer will serve your purpose Please feel free to ask any more queries if required Take care Dr.M.V.Subrahmanyam MD;DCH Associate professor of pediatrics
