Brief Answer:
Needs Xray chest and detailed chest and CVS examination

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all, it is sad to know what your neighbour has been experiencing lately.

Based on the history you have shared, it can be muscular pain but still a detailed CVS and chest examination can help to narrow down the diagnosis. Every left sided chest pain, must have an EKG and a detailed CVS examination.

At home she can start with feeling her pulse that whether it's regular or irregular and if the rate is between 60-100 or not, and for now OTC analgesics like acetaminophen can help. If pain is related with respiration, get a chest Xray.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.
