What Does Pain And Blood While Urinating Indicate?

Question: I was having right side back
pain forbover 1 months, then this past Saturday I went to the bathrrom and my urine was completely red. I went to my local ER and wasvtold I may have passed a kidney stone. I was given Cipro and Tramadol for pain. It's been 6 days and I still have lots of blood in my urine. What should I do. I am still having pain in my back on the right side.

Pain in flank associated with Blood in urine (Hematuria) can be either due to
1) Stone in kidney or ureter
2) Mass(Tumor) in the kidney

Consult qualified Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Contrast C.T Scan of Kidney ,Ureter and Badder.
4) Endoscopic examination of bladder (Cystoscopy)

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.

In the men while continue taking medications prescribed .
