A few small follicles are seen inside both the ovaries --- 7 to 8 in number on each side -- size of the follicles varying from 2-4 mm each. No adnexal mass is seen No fluid is seen in posterior cul-de-sac. Do I have any problem? Are my ovaries enlarged?

Brief Answer: You are probably having PCOS. Detailed Answer: Hi XXXXXXX welcome to HCM. According to your ultrasound report The ovarian volume and stromal thickness is slightly increased and there are multiple follicles of varying size in both ovaries, likely to be polycystic ovaries. It is further supported by the fact that you were being treated for acne and in PCOS there is usually hormone imbalance with increase in testosterone levels, raised LH and increased insulin resistance. You will not have any problem as such and it is not the cause for pain lower abdomen. Try to keep your weight under watch. Thanks. Anything else , you may write.
