Brief Answer:
Blood reports for HIV are not fully conclusive till 6 months

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in Healthcaremagic.com.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.

I understand your concern.
Before I answer your question, I need to ask you a few things-

Why are you anxious?
When were you and your partner last tested for HIV?
What is the time gap between your last sexual exposure and blood test for HIV?
Did you use any protection like condom etc?

Also kindly specify your query.
In general, HIV tests are completely conclusive only after 6 months. However, if you get tested after 3 months of exposure, it is almost conclusive and many doctors do not write for further tests after 6 months.
Hence, if you have been tested on dec 2015 and at least 3 months have not passed since your sexual exposure, you need to get tested again after 3-6 months.

Hope this was useful.
Kindly get back to me with the answers and your specific query.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
Dont worry; HIV is very unlikely

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Thank you for coming up with the answers.
If you have done tests 3 months before then you should repeat it now and if results come as negative, HIV can be ruled out.
Also, using condoms while intercourse protects not only from HIV but from other sexually transmitted diseases too.
Hence it is a very healthy practice.
I believe you should not worry; just get the test done for confirmation.

Hope this helps.
Regards.
