Brief Answer:
Possibility of gliosis due to trauma

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
The lesion described in MRI report is suggestive of post traumatic gloss probable secondary to cord contusion.
The involvement is not associated with any contrast uptake or edema.
There is no significant bony alignment loss or disc prolapse.
The pain may be abnormal sensations due to involvement of this cord level.
You can take pregabalin, gabapentin or amitriptyline for pain relief.
No surgical intervention is required.
Any other history of vision loss, motor or sensory weakness prior to injury.
Hope the answer is helpful.

Yeah, I've talked to you before and you've been very helpful. I asked for my MRI reports today, because I want to actually make sure that there are objective findings in my MRI so I can show the insurance company. I'm still in pain and its been a year since I was hit by a dump truck. I mainly get pain when I actually do things like shopping, cleaning or lifting heavy items. 30 minutes after doing any of these activities, and pains are shooting and traveling up and down my spine, down my arms. Also stabbing pains in the shoulder. Lyrica has helped tremendously.

What are your thoughts on the disc bulge? and future pain? does this type of injury cause degenerative changes?

Brief Answer:
Get lumbosacral and thoracic Mri

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
The pain in spine and back region may not be explainable by cervical injury. You need to get Mri of lumbosacral and thoracic region for any additional injury, fracture or disc prolapse.
For neck you should regularly do neck isometric exercises. The disc at cervical level seems not to be having any significant effect on cord.
For back pain also you can do isometric exercises.
Pain modulator like lyrica or amitryptiline can be continued.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
