Brief Answer:
your both tubes are blocked

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
thanks for using health care magic

i have read your query with much concern.
The abnormality in the results of your hysterosalpingography is at the level of the last phrase which reads " bilateral distal tubar obstruction" implying that your both tubes are blocked at the end that is away from the uterus.

In your history i see that you have a history of a series of ectopic pregnancies. Surgical treatment of ectopic pregnancy involves cutting of the fallopian tube hence blockage of the tube.

In individuals in whom, the tubes have been removed/cut, delivery is still possible though only through in vitro fertilization.

Hope this helps. If you have further query, i will be glad to help.
Best regards

Brief Answer:
blocked tubes after surgery is permanent

Detailed Answer:
Hello
thanks once more for the query.

I have no information about the herbal tampons. Well correct me if am wrong, your tubes are blocked due to "prior surgery from ectopic pregnancies". This is not reversible by medication no matter how effective or how magical the medication can be. Only surgery can fixed this or IVF if pregnancy is needed.

Best regards.

Hi again Dr.,
What about tubal cannulation? Can that possibly help me? IVF is too expensive. Is that something that can be done by a doctor or radiologist?

Thanks for your help.

Brief Answer:
Tubal cannulation may not help in your case

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX

Thanks once more for the query.

I am sorry to say, since you are having distal tubal obstruction, Tubal cannulation may not help you. It is useful in proximal obstruction which is near to uterus. Tubal cannulation will not be recommended in woman who has history of previous tubal surgeries(ectopic pregnancy).

The only alternative would be IVF.

Please discuss this with your treating OBGYN or Infertility specialist.

Best regards
Dr Achuo
